Piano Technicians Guild Meeting on 10/18 at Frank and Camille. 9 Members present. President Mike Slavin called the meeting to order.

John Luca of Mastercraft Piano gave the technical. He demonstrated tools to adjust keybed height. John showed us how to adjust the glider screws with special wrench and dials. John said you can adjust glider screws in about 5 minutes. Next demo was tools for key dip adjustment. Key dip on the black keys is a different method. As I've stated in previous months you had to be there to see the demo to take advantage of the tools. John and Mike discussed the different ways to do key dip. Other members contributed to the discussion about their methods of achieving correct key dip.
