Alan Schumacker, our convention delegate, gave a report on the Chicago convention. He reported that the PTG home office is getting a dues increase in line with increasing expenses. The increase will be included in the PTG dues notice. He also stated that Barbara Cassiday has been appointed as the new Executive Director at the PTG's home office.

Committee Reports: Mike Slavin of the dinner committee reported that he is looking for a place for our end of year party. We will consider the place where we had our last party for our June party. The business meeting ended at 8:30 PM.

Technical: Our technical was on fasteners. Paul Keogler explained to us the different types of screws and their uses. He also showed us the proper tools to use with each type of screw and explained the reasons for the use of specific screws in the piano. In addition to screws, Paul also discussed washers that are used and when and where we use them.

The meeting ended at 10 PM with a lively question and answer session. We thank Paul for his interesting and informative presentation.
