The full four-course dinner is $45 per person, with an open bar. Weather permitting, cocktails can be enjoyed before dinner on the lovely outdoor patio. We hope everyone will plan to attend. There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant, and ample street parking which is free after 6 p.m.

Glues and adhesives are invaluable "tools" that we need and use constantly to perform piano repairs. There is a new kind of liquid plastic weld that is now available, that can be added to our "bag of tricks." It has many applications if used properly, and gives us additional options. The product goes under various trade names such as Bondic or LazerBond, and is available on-line.

The clear liquid is applied from a small squeeze tube, and is used with the principle of welding, not gluing. It is solvent free and will not dry out, and remains liquid indefinitely. It will only solidify by exposure to UV light with the supplied LED pen-lamp. (This is similar to the procedure that dentists use to bond repair teeth). This permits very long assembly time and positioning of parts, since there is no set-up until activated by the UV wand.

The liquid weld is not suggested to replace our traditional use of wood glues, CA, PVC-E, etc., but as another choice for our repair work.
