Meeting started with new business. Of note John Luca was voted in as new Vice President. We wish him good luck in his new position. (I hope his position lasts longer than some people in the gov't- lol).

John also gave the technical on replacing worn or damaged key tops. He began by demonstrating use of a hot iron with a damp cloth to melt the old plastic or ivory off the key. A very interesting method if you never saw it used. Next was glueing and filing of the key top.

Tip- John suggests using car compound to smooth out small scratches and shine up the keys. A discussion followed and the meeting adjourned at 8:00.
