A regular meeting of the Long Island Nassau Chapter, PTG was held on April 10, 2012, at Dancing Ivories, 11 Washington Avenue, Bay Shore, N.Y. Seven chapter members and one guest attended.

President Slavin called the meeting to order at 7:26 PM.

The minutes for the March 13, 2012 meeting were accepted by general consent.

The treasurer’s report was accepted by general consent.

• The May meeting was originally scheduled for Thursday, May 10, to accommodate our guest speaker. That individual canceled his engagement. As a result, the chapter meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 8. Dan Levitan has gracefully agreed to give a technical presentation for the evening.
• A restaurant for the June dinner had not yet been selected. He proposed that we eat at the French bistro in Roslyn, since we ate there last year and the dinner was well attended. Instead of the usual technical presentation, piano parts, tools and supplies that belonged to Lenny Genovese were auctioned. Paul Keogler served as the auctioneer. Proceeds from the sale will be sent to Delores Genovese.
