We are very pleased to announce that this month's technical class will be given by the well-renowned Daniel Levitan of the New York City Chapter. Dan has been an instructor at the national convention, as well as the author of articles in the Journal and the acclaimed new book "The Craft of Piano Tuning." Dan will present his newly designed grand piano tuning hammer, and will discuss tuning hammer technique. Dan will have personally autographed copies of his book available at a discount.

The Executive Committee will meet prior to the general meeting at 5 p.m. at the Carle Place Diner, on the northeast corner of Old Country Road and Glen Cove Road.

Next month's meeting will be our year-end dinner party, to be held on Tuesday evening June 12, 2012. Due to the great success of last year's party, we will again meet at:

The chef is still creating the spring menu for the lakeside full-course French dinner, so the final cost has yet to be fully determined. But it will continue to be in our normal price range. We hope everyone will plan to attend. Further details will appear in next month's newsletter.
