The General Meeting

The general meeting for this month will be held on Tuesday, May 10 starting at 7 PM at:

Steinway Piano Gallery
Fortunoff Mall
Old Country Road
Westbury, New York

This month's technical class will be given by our own Paul Koegler, who will be presenting "The Business of Business."

The Executive Committee will meet at 5 PM at the Cheesecake Factory Restaurant in the Food Court on the second floor of the Fortunoff Mall, prior to the general meeting.

Notes From Lenny Genovese

All members should be prepared to vote on a name change of our chapter to "The Ernie Juhn Chapter". This proposal was brought up a while ago and is still lingering. I spoke to Jim Birch, our PTG President, about this. He said that there should be no problem; other chapters have changed names. He suggested we vote on it, and then notify him so he can bring it up to council.

Chris Robinson gave me some sad news. Karen's mom, Joanne DeBorgh passed away recently. Our sympathy to Karen, Chris, and family. If you desire, they can be contacted at (860) 243-2343 or P.O. Box 662 Bloomfield, CT. 06002.

Finally, we are sent regards from Pat Prudente in Florida.

Dinner Party

Next month's meeting will be our year-end dinner party, to be held on Tuesday evening June 14, 2005 at 7:00 PM. Due to the great success of our Holiday party and the very positive response, the party will again be held at:

George Washington Manor
1305 Old Northern Boulevard
Old Roslyn Village
(516) 621-1200

The full-course dinner is $38 per person (including tax and tip) with a cash bar. There will be a choice of more than a dozen entrees; filet mignon is an additional $5. Please send your reservations / payment to our treasurer:

Paul Keogler
c/o Dancing Ivories
11 Washington Avenue
Bay Shore, NY 11706

We hope everyone will plan to attend. Proper casual attire is recommended. Further details and directions will appear in next month's newsletter.
