Minutes of the February Meeting
by Michael Slavin, V.P.

The meeting of L.I. Nassau Chapter was held at the United Methodist Church on Merrick Road in Baldwin, NY on February 10, 2004. The meeting was called to order by president Paul Eccardt at 7 PM, and attended by seven members and four guests. Secretary Marty Dinerstein was not present, so the minutes from last month's Newsletter were accepted and approved as written. Treasurer Paul Keogler read his financial status report, stating that the chapter was expecting the dues check from the Home Office in April and that the rent for the church would be withdrawn from savings. President Paul Eccardt reported the upcoming regional conference in Pennsylvania, and that Bill Garlick has submitted an application for processing to become a chapter sustaining member. The dinner committee reported that the chapter could no longer afford to subsidize the tax and tip costs of our two annual dinner parties (as advised by the treasurer), and that attendees would hereafter be required to pay the full amount. Allan Schumacker was elected as the chapter's delegate to the PTG Council meeting which will be held in Nashville, Tennessee this summer. The business meeting was adjourned at 7:15 PM.
