This month's technical class will be by Patrick Draine, RPT, the Northeast Regional Vice President of the Piano Technicians Guild. His presentation will be a "grab bag" of PTG "political issues" that the PTG Board will have just dealt with at the Mid Year Board Meeting (February 5 through 7), "What we need to know about Ivory and the Law", a brief presentation of the PTG China Tour back in October 2013, and a sampling of tech tips.

Update February 9, 2015: Patrick Draine, RPT and Northeast Regional Vice President PTG, will be unable to speak at tomorrow night's meeting due to more heavy snow in Boston, as well as a family funeral. The technical will be given by Michael Slavin, RPT, a presentation of "Tech Tips," a collection of his creative and practical solutions to everyday field work.

The Executive Committee will meet prior to the general meeting at 5 p.m. at the Carle Place Diner, on the northeast corner of Old Country Road and Glen Cove Road.
