Lenny Genovese informs us that Paul Kupelian, the Northeast Regional Vice President, says that our chapter name change is on the agenda for the January board meeting. Lenny also passes along the following information from Steinway:

In an effort to better serve and meet the objectives of the Customer Satisfaction Initiative changes have been implemented in the Technical Services Division. Our Service Division is transitioning to the title of Customer Satisfaction, which better reflects the overall change in the culture of the department and interaction with our customers. With that change we have added additional staff with piano technical backgrounds and increased responsibilities.

Bill Youse (800 366-1853 ext 3119) has joined our Customer Satisfaction Division bringing well over 30 years of piano technical, finish, rebuilding and management experience. Bill's position as Manager of Service Administration will be spearheading our internal and external customer communications and support by providing technical and non-technical information for dealers, technicians, end-users and owners. He will also manage the warranty service program and its coordination with finance and manufacturing, be responsible for our Parts Department and oversee our Restoration / Heirloom sales division. He will also take an active role in our technical field training, development of our new multi-media Service / Parts resource guide in conjunction with our Hamburg factory, Internet and B2B Intranet extension for our dealers and technicians.
